1. Cause Analysis of Large Vibration
There are many causes of large vibration on decanter centrifuge, based on the on-site maintenance experience of decanter centrifuge, the following 5 causes are the most common .
1.1 Bad Dynamic Balance of the Drum
In general, it is required that the dynamic balance deviation should be less than 3g. If the deviation at a certain point on the drum is 4g, the rotating speed is 4500r/min, and the drum diameter is 600mm, the eccentric force will be 266.21kg. Thus it can be seen, a small deviation at a certain point on the drum will cause a large eccentric force. The eccentric force is the root cause of large vibration.
1.2 Internal Blockage of the Drum
With the continuous operation of decanter, due to the viscosity of the medium, part of the medium will be adsorbed on the drum wall, causing blockage of the flow channel, resulting in unbalance force and large vibration.
1.3 Internal Abrasion and Deformation of the Drum
Internal abrasion and deformation of the drum, resulting in uneven deviation of the drum, is also the cause of large vibration.
1.4 Shaft Bend Deformation
When the shaft is bent and deformed, a large eccentric force will be generated during operation, causing large vibration.
1.5 Bearing Wear
Bearing wear and excessive bearing clearance will cause increased vibration displacement, resulting in large vibration.
2. Treatment Measures
(1) After the drum and screw are assembled, the balance check should be carried out, the dynamic balance must be less than 3g.
(2) Adjust the process according to the properties of the medium, and wash the decanter in time.
(3) Repair the worn parts of the drum.
(4) Replace the bent and deformed shaft.
(5) Replace new bearings and regularly change the lubricating grease.
