Product Introduction

Decanter centrifuge is a mechanical equipment for continuous centrifugal separation of suspensions with density differences. Our company’s centrifuges can clarify, dehydrate or grade suspensions containing solid particles with a particle size of 0.002~3mm and a concentration range of 0.5~10%. According to the material characteristics, the centrifuge can be divided into LW two-phase type and LWS three-phase type. The centrifuge can be used for the separation of different materials under different working conditions. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, environmental protection and other industries.

The product has the following features:

1. The parts in contact with the materials are made of high-quality high-strength austenitic stainless steel or duplex stainless steel, which have sufficient strength and excellent corrosion resistance, and have undergone multiple stress relief treatments.

2. The drum has large aspect ratio, high rotation speed, and the angle range of the drum cone is 6-20°.

3. The screw shaft is made by special molding method, with small screw pitch error and small blade deformation. The surface of the screw shaft is spray-welded with tungsten carbide or inlaid with hard alloy wear-resistant blades. Therefore, the screw shaft is anti-corrosion, wear-resistant and has a long service life.

4. The differential system of centrifuge has reliable performance. Generally, the differential is planetary gear type or cycloidal gear type, they are both mechanical. As needed, hydraulic differential system can also be used. Mechanical differentials are mainly Chinese famous brands, while hydraulic differentials are imported brands. The differential system is manufactured with high precision, good performance and reliable operation.

5. Both the main motor and auxiliary motor are controlled by frequency converter to achieve stepless speed regulation, which has a wide range of material adaptability and is easy to debug.

6. Due to reasonable tolerance control, advanced processing technology, precise dynamic balance, and the use of imported brand of bearings, the vibration of the bearings at both ends of the centrifuge is kept with 2.5mm/s before leaving the factory.

Working Principle

Decanter centrifuge is mainly composed of cylinder-cone drum, screw shaft, differential system, bearing seats, frame, cover, main and auxiliary motors and electrical control system. The main motor drives the drum, and the auxiliary motor drives the differential to generate a differential speed between the drum and the screw shaft.

The drum and screw shaft rotate at a high speed with a certain differential speed. The raw materials are continuously fed into screw shaft through the feed pipe and then be distributed to the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the heavier solid phase is deposited on the drum wall to form a sediment layer. The screw shaft continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the conical end of the drum, after dewatered, it is discharged through the solid outlet. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid layer, which continuously flows out of the overflow port at the cylinder end of the drum, and then discharged through the liquid outlet.
