Rotary Drum Filter

Product Introduction

Rotary drum filter is a filtering device for removing suspended solids. The device is composed of filter mesh placed over a rotating drum. The gap of the filter mesh is between 0.2 mm and 2.0 mm. Customers can choose different mesh sizes according to the water output requirements.

The product has the following features:

Working Principle

Wastewater (or other liquid) flows into the rotary drum from the front and exits from the bottom. Suspended solids in the wastewater are trapped on the rotating drum surface.

As the drum rotates, the trapped solids are conveyed from the water inlet to the discharge port on the opposite side, where they are scraped off by a discharge scraper. Meanwhile, the cleaning system will regularly clean the drum surface.

During operation, the flushing water pressure is 3 bar. It has been successfully applied in the fields of water supply and wastewater treatment.
