1. General Safety Requirements
(1) Before operating, the operators should attend professional safety and technical train, and pass the examination.
(2) The operators must be familiar with the structure, performance, working principle and correct operation method of decanter centrifuge, grasp the causes and preventive measures of common faults.
(3) The operators must be familiar with the start/stop and automatic/manual procedures of the equipment.
(4) The operators must wear safety protection products when on duty.
(5) The operators must strictly implement the other relevant safety production rules and regulations.
2. Safety Operation Regulations
(1) Before starting, the operators must check that whether there are other impurities in the drum, whether the oil level of the oil tank is normal, whether the V belt is tightened up, etc. Only confirming everything is OK, the machine can be started.
(2) Before starting, the operators must rotate the drum manually to ensure that the drum rotates smoothly without collision.
(3) When starting the motors, pay attention to the starting current value. If the current deviates too much from the rated current value for a long time, stop the motors immediately.
(4) Only after the decanter reaches normal operating speed without any abnormality, can the materials be fed into the decanter.
(5) During operation, the operators must observe the current, vibration, voice, temperature of the decanter, they are not allowed to exceed the rated values.
(6) In case of filter cake blockage, stop the feeding pump and wash the decanter, so as to remove the blockage. If it doesn’t work, shutdown the power supply. After the decanter stopped completely, disassemble the decanter and remove the blockage manually.
3. Maintenance and Safety Operation Regulations
