Slag Water Separator

Product Introduction

Slag water separator (also called screw screen) is a professional device mainly designed for solid-liquid separation of slag-containing sewage. It adopts screw conveying and physical extrusion dewatering structure to efficiently separate solid slag from wastewater automatically.

Working Principle

Slag-water mixture flows into the tank. The inclined screw screen, driven by the motor, rotates slowly and pushes the slag upward along the trough.

As the slag moves upward, the screw’s pitch and pressure squeeze out residual wastewater from the slag. Water drains back into the tank, while the slag is dewatered and reduced in volume. The screw screen is larger than ordinary screw and has higher treatment capacity.

There is a filter screen under the screw screen. As the screw screen rotates, the slag is conveyed to the discharge port and be discharged. The water is filtered by the filter screen and be discharged from the filtrate outlet.
